About Infection Control Solutions
Infection Control Solutions Ltd (ICS) was formed in response to the demands of the Healthcare sector enabling those service providers without comprehensive infection control provision to achieve ongoing compliance with the Department of Health and Healthcare Commission minimum standards and other directives.

ICS provide a unique pro-active specialist infection control service incorporating consultation, audits, training, staff support, development and publication of policies and procedures specific to a variety of environments and other infection control services, specific to client needs.
 
Business Situation
ICS was in need of improving their infrastructure in line with the growing demands of their business.  The requirement was to install a site-to-site VPN, upgrade their peer-to-peer network to a client-server environment, recommend and install a backup solution and secure the network.
 
The Solution
ProLife IT upgraded the network and installed a Microsoft Small Business Server.  This provided ICS with an improved and collaborative working environment.  ProLife IT further assisted ICS by recommending the most suited hardware and software to install a sit-to-site VPN from London to Kent.  The entire network was optimised and secured by way of an antivirus solution and secure firewall.
